Des(s)ert is a heavily reimagined animated 2021 version of a piece originally created in 2017. Each KawaiiKowai piece is inherently dichotomous, and explores themes of East vs. West, Love vs. Fear, and cute & surreal monsters vs. scary & realistic human environments. Includes animated vector art, a procedurally generated phyllotactic background pattern, and music.
