FUTURE VS. PAST
Future vs. Past is an abstract representation of the artist’s struggle to balance dichotomous internal and external forces in his life: he is a gay, second generation Asian American immigrant who is both an artist by passion and an engineer by education. In the mythology of the KawaiiKowai universe, Future vs. Past is an Incredibly Luminous Interdimensional Angel (ILIA) — or Angel, for short — who has learned to successfully balance the lessons of the past with hope for the future. Includes animated vector art, a procedurally generated phyllotactic background pattern, and music.
